About Tillie
Tillie started riding at the age of 7 when she was surprised with one horse lesson for her birthday. That day ignited a burning passion and inspired her to keep learning. Since then, she's devoted her time learning from fantastic trainers and clinicians such as Olivia La Goy-Weltz, Jami Kment, Debbie McDonald, Kathy Connelly, Lilo Fore, Felice Rose, and George Williams. She's competed at the US Dressage Finals, Festival of Champions and NAYC several times. In 2022, Tillie was a working student for Olivia La Goy-Weltz for the Florida season. Olivia is a fantastic mentor to Tillie, who pushed her to take the next step in her career. In May of 2022, Tillie opened her own dressage training facility, Serenity Rose Equestrian Center LLC, naming the facility after her beloved late trainer, Felice Rose.
Training
Tillie Jones is an experienced dressage rider who offers a wealth of knowledge to her students. Though she is new to training dressage, she is well versed in the sport and is passionate about teaching new generations. She offers instruction to riders of all levels. She is devoted to her students and helps them develop a positive mental mindset with her B.A. in Psychology. She incorporates gentle horsemanship skills, cross training and focuses on the basic fundamentals of dressage. She tailors her lessons to each individual, creating a positive learning environment that encourages growth and improvement. Tillie is patient and encouraging, helping her students to build their confidence and partnership with their horses. Together, Tillie and her students set goals for the season to reach their full potential.
